A non-profit cultural Association, here for the contemporary Art
Dimensions Art is a non-profit cultural association founded by a group of young artists with the aim of promoting creativity, innovation and inclusion through contemporary art, with a particular focus on digital art. The association is officially registered in the Single National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS) and is part of the Ancescao network, a national framework of social and community centres that promote active ageing, social participation and intergenerational dialogue. Through this affiliation, Dimensions Art reinforces its mission of creativity, inclusion and community engagement, fostering collaboration between generations within a European cultural perspective.
The association adopts a collaborative and horizontal structure, in which each member contributes their skills to the creation of events, exhibitions, educational initiatives and community projects. Its mission is to make art a tool for youth empowerment, social cohesion and the enhancement of the local area, offering opportunities for personal and professional growth to young artists and communities, particularly in areas with fewer cultural resources. Dimensions Art organises and curates national and international events in collaboration with cultural institutions, universities and local organisations, promoting dialogue and the exchange of knowledge. Among the most significant initiatives are Links Between Worlds (The Social Hub, Florence), The New Atlas of Digital Art (MEET Gallery, Milan), Art City Bologna (Onirica Gallery, Bologna), Mare Nostrum (exhibitions throughout Bari in collaboration with 'Nostra Collective') and Sacri Sguardi (Museo Ipogeo di Trinitapoli, attended by the Italian Minister of Culture).
The association was founded in the context of Web 3 and includes members from different parts of the world. In-person events provide an opportunity to meet, put faces to names and create direct connections. We are physically based in Minervino Murge (BT), but through the web and events throughout Italy, we seek to connect artists and art lovers.
